FGII announces a benefit of INR 50,000 each for their business active agents against COVID-19 infection
 
Mumbai, March 31, 2020: Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII), the general insurance arm of the joint venture between retail giant Future Group and global insurer Generali, announced to provide a relief fund of INR 50,000 each to their business active agents if they, their spouses or their children are tested positive for COVID-19.

FGII has introduced this practice to support their business active agents who continued to work amid the coronavirus outbreak. There are over 8000 agents and Future Generali India Insurance promises to look after each one of them if they face any unforeseen situation.

Mr. Anup Rau, MD & CEO,Future Generali India Insurance said,“While the world is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, our agents have been instrumental in creating awareness and getting so many people insured so that in the time of need, they are taken care off. So it’s our turn now to take care of them. We will be transferring INR 50,000 to their bank accounts in case they, their spouses or their children are diagnosed with the infection.They can get this lump sum amount, without any waiting period.”

Future Generali India Insurance had been constantly supporting employees on a one to one basis if they have been detected with COVID-19or have been quarantined.
