Sinclairs Hotels nine months PAT up by 125%
to Rs 1132.97 lakh 

Kolkata, February 14, 2023:  For the nine-month period ended 31st December 2022, Sinclairs Hotels’ Total Income increased by 76% to Rs.4309.65 lakh (Rs.2,447.96 lakh) while EBIDTA rose by 69% to Rs.1,906.67 lakh (Rs.1,127.72 lakh). The Profit Before Tax for the nine-month period increased by 113% at Rs.1485.22 lakh (Rs.697.31 lakh) and Profit After Tax for the period increased by 125% to Rs.1,132.97 lakh (Rs.504.30 lakh).

 For the quarter ended 31st December 2022, Sinclairs Hotels’ Total Income stood at Rs.1,511.21 lakh (Rs.1,548.81 lakh). The Profit Before Tax for the quarter was Rs.539.29 lakh (Rs.763.67 lakh) while Profit After Tax was Rs. 404.48 lakh (Rs.576.43 lakh).

 The Earnings per Share (Face Value: Rs.2 per Share) (not annualised) for the nine-month period stood at Rs. 4.14. The Company continues to be debt free with strong fundamentals and its Other Equity (excluding Revaluation Reserves) stood at Rs.10347.62 lakh as at 31st March 2022.

 The Company’s nine properties continue to enjoy healthy bookings from both individual travellers as well as corporates. There has been an uptick in group bookings as well as banquet bookings for social functions as well as destination weddings.

 During the quarter, the Company signed a conditional sale agreement for its unutilised parcel of land in Kolkata for a lumpsum consideration of Rs. 27 crore, subject to fulfilment of conditions and due diligence and the same is in progress.
